Drawings

I relish the time I spend drawing.  While most of my paintings involve organic, roughly hewn forms, my drawings are often very detailed.  I suppose the balance between them is incredibly enjoyable to me - - sometimes diving into minutia, sometimes remaining in the canopy of the forest of thoughts that make their way around my head.  All of my work, whether painting, drawing, musical, or word-based, follows the same path of theoretical inquiry - through identity theory, communication theory, and the intersections of those areas of exploration with popular culture and politics.
